My work begins with a sensitivity to color.
I am drawn to the subtle beauty found in everyday moments. The shifting colors of air created by light reflecting off surrounding objects throughout the day, and the way my emotions influence how these colors are perceived.

While the visual language of my work may appear minimal and poetic, I continuously explore ways to build depth within that simplicity.

Rather than focusing solely on personal narratives, I aim to create forms that invite shared experience. My work is designed to exist comfortably within a space—blending naturally with its surroundings and other objects, while quietly enhancing the atmosphere.

While my primary focus is painting, I also work with ceramics, wood, and mixed media to express shared human experiences—communicating stories in a subtle, almost unspoken way.

I primarily focus on layering color and texture, combining softness with material presence across painting and sculptural approaches. Though the work may appear minimal, it is built slowly and deliberately, with layers of paint accumulating over time to form the final image.

In this video, I introduce one of my processes, “Layering.” My work begins with a memory that once felt beautiful to me. I build the surface by repeatedly layering paint and then removing it. This process is inspired by natural formations, layers that accumulate and erode over time. Within this simple repetition, subtle variations begin to emerge, and these traces come together to shape the work.
